It’s that time! Time to whip out our special Easter themed books that have been tucked away since last year. It’s also around this time I start looking for any books that would make a great addition to our growing collection. For me, books only make it into our collection if they are highly rated or come highly recommended from a trusted source. So if you’re in the market for some Christ-centered Easter books for your kids- I’ve got you! I’ve gathered a list of some of our favorite Easter books that focus on Christ and the real Easter story.
Why Christ-centered Easter books
Now, more than ever, I feel the need to make sure my children are grounded in biblical truth. There’s a spiritual war being fought over our children. The need to equip them to know and understand the gospel story is paramount. That’s truly the foundation of everything! We were always heading towards Jesus. So, while the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, and Easter baskets are fun cultural traditions, they can quickly over shadow the real focus of Easter. And that’s coming from someone who loves to create and give curated baskets of goodies! But at the end of the day, the best and most important gift is Jesus’ death and resurrection. And that’s the gift I want my children to receive and understand deeply.
